Spring Break, Ajo Arizona

It was Spring break this year and we thought that we would go and visit Mark and Denise in Ajo, Arizona...Everyone told me it was a one stop light kinda town. Other than the really long drive there and back we had a great time. It was nice to get away from Farmington, and the bonus was that we were able to bring Abby and AJ with us. Denise is quite the little hostest and was supper excited that we were coming to she her. We did a lot during the weekend. I help Denise and her extended family can a bunch of dry goods for a food storage. Note to self its worth the extra money to buy it already canned. It didn't seem like hard work, but we were sure tired afterwards. We went horse back riding, it was lots of fun. Abby is a good little horse back rider and you would think she rides all the time. We rode Charity and Annie, Annie is Denise's baby. It was great fun, and the kids had a great time. Believe it or not Ajo has a restaurant...or two. We went out to eat one night, had some great food. I think the kids were supper hungry because there was not anything left on their plates. Then they all crashed out hard watching TV, check out the pictures of them all sleeping. The next day the kids and Jake were up and running early. He was good about getting them all fed, and out they would go to play and jump on the trampoline. We went and saw Denise's doggie, Tricksy and her baby puppy's. And a ton of other little dogs. We took the kids to the park and had a picnic and played some baseball. It was a nice day, probably 80 degrees and no wind. The dog, Guss even got a workout in, he was one tired pup. Mark came home and we were off to go riding four wheelers till dark. It was fun the kids were all about riding. Good times for sure. Mark cooked our dinner on the grill, supper good food, and the kids at all of what was on their plates and then some...All and all we had a great little visit with the Moore family and it always makes it hard to leave when you are having fun. So I just wanted to say thank you Denise and Mark for letting us come and stay with you for a few days.

Burr Baby...It's Cold Outside!

Its Me and Jake, and one cold light parade...Burr Baby its cold outside. By the end of the parade all of our toes were frozen and we couldn't wait to get inside a building and get warm.
Abby and Mommy, She was dressed for the cold, I don't feel like I was. We all had fun and were never so glad to see the end of light parade.

Jake and Abby posing for the camera...what a bunch of goof balls. Wonder where they get that from.
I caught Abby trying to hide so I couldn't take her picture. Ha Ha, I win. Mom 1/Abby 0.

Here are some photos from the Light Parade in Durango. AJ was trying to take my Photo and I was taking his. Let me tell ya, AJ is not all about getting his picture taken, and kept hiding from me. Abby thought it was funny too, so they kept hiding behind Jake. I was still able to get a few pictures in.

Every story has a begining...

It's Valentine's Day... and there is this boy. It's been 4 months of dating and he is absolutely the best thing that has ever happened to Me. I'm not a big on Valentine's Day, or Christmas holidays... they in the past has been not fun. That is until I met Jake. He said that he was going to change that for me and that we will have to work on it. Christmas was great this year. Valentine's was even better. He drew me this amazing picture...the one to the left. Pretty good uh? The great thing about this picture is how we really met. Or you can say that is when I noticed him. The story goes like this. We we're on a call one day, me The Paramedic and Jake the Police Officer. Jake asked if he could drive our ambulance, I think he was flirting, and I didn't pick up on it as fast as he would have liked. But don't get me wrong, I noticed him. Well I told him he could drive My ambulance if I could drive His police car. He stuck out his hand, holding his keys and I snatched them up in my hand. I walked away and got in the back of my ambulance. Jake yelled "Hey I need those!" so I gave them back to him. We laugh about it now and I told him I should have kept the keys and took them to the hospital with me so he would have had to come and get them.
